I began working with Cinema 4D, a 3D modeling software program, in the Fall of 2017. Initially, I would experiment with software by creating and animating geometric shapes. Eventually, I tackled the challenges of designing more organic shapes and texture mapping. Around the same time, I was just finishing putting together my solo exhibition Wherever the Mushrooms Grow. So, with the wonderful world of funky fungi in mind, I produced a colorful arrangement of exploding 3D modeled mushrooms.
