A Few More Sponges

Artwork should be as absorbent as sponges and sponges should be displayed across 10 x 8 foot walls. In my final year of college, in a collaborative exhibition, I produced my largest scale and most ambition piece: A Few More Sponges. Through the use of charcoal, pen and ink, and graphite pencil, I created a visual union between images and words. Deliberately designed to simulate an enlarged page from a notebook, ambiguous messages attempt to evoke self-reflection from the viewers.
